We do not share, collect, or use information from minors unless we are obligated to do so as mandated reporters of abuse and neglect.
We provide some publication materials that are created and available for the benefit of all youth, including children age 13 or under. We do not elicit or request any information from children who choose to view these publications.

Information Collected and Used From Third-Party Websites
If you have an account or profile with a third-party website (e.g., Facebook, X) and choose to follow, like, friend, or comment on a third-party website managed by the NCWCIA website, certain personal information associated with your account may be made available to us based on the privacy policies of the third-party website and your privacy settings within that website. We do not share personally identifiable information (PII) made available through these websites.
Information Automatically Collected and Stored
When you browse through our website, we use Google Analytics software (GA4) to gather and temporarily store a variety of information about your visit. However, this information cannot be used to identify you as an individual.
We do not associate any of the data we collect with you as an individual. Instead, we aggregate these data from all visits to improve our website and provide a better user experience to our visitors. The aggregated data are available only to web managers and other designated staff who require this information to perform their duties. Demographic and Interest Data
On some portions of our website, we have enabled GA4 and other third-party software (listed below) to provide aggregate demographic (age, gender, location) and interest data of our visitors identified as over 18 years old. This information cannot be used to identify you as an individual. While these tools are used by some websites to serve advertisements, the NCWCIA website only uses them to measure demographic data. The NCWCIA website has no control over advertisements served on other websites.

Google Analytics: NCWCIA may employ tools provided by Google Cloud and Google Analytics to support data collection via cookies and anonymous identifiers, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, BigQuery, and/or Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. Microsoft Bookings and Microsoft Outlook: NCWCIA uses Microsoft Bookings and Microsoft Outlook as online booking tools to schedule meetings with website users and connect them to our experts. If you choose to provide your name, email address, and any additional information to access the virtual meeting platform, the personal information is kept confidential. Microsoft Forms: NCWCIA uses Microsoft Forms as an online tool to process requests to join NCWCIA Peer Innovation and Insight Networking Groups (PIINGs). If you choose to provide your name, email address, and any additional information to join a PIING, the personal information is shared with the NCWCIA website team, PIING leads, and Children’s Bureau leads managing the group you request to join, as well as staff on the NCWCIA Peer Innovation and Insights team who are processing the request. MailChimp: NCWCIA uses Intuit MailChimp to manage emails to users, provide email updates to PIING members, collect feedback, and facilitate meetings. The MailChimp privacy policy is available at: https://www.intuit.com/privacy/statement/.
Mural: NCWCIA uses Mural to post resources, questions, and event topic ideas; collect feedback; and facilitate meetings. The Mural privacy policy is available at: https://www.mural.co/terms/privacy-statement.
Tableau: NCWCIA uses Tableau, a software that produces interactive data visualization. Our staff only conduct analysis on the aggregated data from Tableau. The Tableau privacy policy is available at https://www.tableau.com/privacy.
Zoom: NCWCIA uses Zoom for Government as a virtual event platform for client deliverables and virtual events. The Zoom for Government platform operates in a dedicated, secure infrastructure designed to meet the requirements of FedRAMP Moderate baseline and DOD Impact Level 2. Cookies
Websites can automatically place small text files, known as cookies, on visitors’ computers. So long as they do not expire or are deleted, cookies identify the unique browser used by visitors. On each subsequent visit to a website, the visitor’s browser will retrieve the cookie, allowing it to aggregate the number of return visitors.
NCWCIA uses cookies to test and optimize our website design and content. We use one type of cookie, session cookies, to gather data for technical purposes, such as improving website navigation and generating statistics about how the website is used.
